Alison Duckles CBE

Alison has worked in the construction sector for most of her career, working in all areas of learning and development, including development of early talent pipelines, technical and professional development and workforce development. She worked extensively on the development of new construction apprenticeships, engaging employers, providers, sector bodies and Government.

She has Governance experience through her role as a Board Trustee for NOCN Group (an educational charity) completing a 9-year term as Vice Chair of the Group. She has also been Chair of their subsidiary NOCN Job Cards Board for 5 years. Now working in a freelance capacity Alison has more time to engage in volunteering work, and started working as a volunteer driver for the Daylight Centre foodbank. Recognising the importance of the work that the Daylight Centre Fellowship does, Alison wants to make a positive contribution to that work and has now been appointed a Director and Trustee.
