Nick Chapman

Originally from Northampton, Nick has lived in Earls Barton for 42 years. Nick’s career was in public service with a local authority as an Engineer, firstly in highway design and maintenance and latterly managing a design team in highway safety engineering and education.

For more than 36 years, Nick has been actively involved in voluntary community work by serving on his local Parish Council, and as a school governor, as well as other local organisations such as allotment committees, carnival committees and as part of the team that, for the last 14 years run Earls Barton Festival.

Nick has been a volunteer for the Daylight Centre since 2020 with his wife making twice weekly delivery rounds of food parcels as one of several delivery teams. Nick fully supports the work and the aims of the Daylight Centre Fellowship and believe that as a trustee he will be able to make a positive contribution to furthering those aims.
